These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the CHASR mobile application ("App") operated by CHASR ("we," "our," or "us"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
You must be at least 17 years of age to use the App. By using the App, you represent and warrant that you are at least 17 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.
When you first open the App, an anonymous account is automatically created for you. You do not need to provide any personal information to use the core features. You may optionally link your Apple ID for account recovery purposes.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device and account. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account, including any content posted to the community.
CHASR is a confidence-building application that provides daily real-world missions designed to help you improve your social skills. The App includes:
Free tier: All 135 missions, streak tracking, progress tracking, leaderboard access, community viewing, 1 streak shield per 30 days, 1 mission swap per day.
Pro tier (optional paid subscription): 3 streak shields per 30 days, unlimited mission swaps, community posting, Pro badge on leaderboard.
Pro subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store. Pricing is displayed in the App at the time of purchase. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple ID settings.
All purchases are processed by the Apple App Store. Refund requests must be directed to Apple through their standard refund process. We do not process refunds directly.
When using the community features, you agree to:
We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these guidelines and to suspend or terminate accounts of repeat offenders without notice or refund.
You retain ownership of the content you post in the community. By posting, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display, distribute, and moderate your content within the App. You represent that you have the right to post all content you submit.
We are not responsible for user-generated content. Views expressed by users in the community do not represent our views.
Users can report posts that violate our community guidelines. We review reported content and take appropriate action, which may include removing content, warning users, or suspending accounts. Posts that receive multiple reports may be automatically hidden pending review.
CHASR is a self-improvement tool designed to help build social confidence. The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.
Important:
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or use, arising out of or related to your use of the App, whether based on warranty, contract, tort, or any other legal theory, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Our total liability for any claim arising out of or related to these Terms or the App shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or $50, whichever is greater.
The App, including its design, missions, text, graphics, logos, and software, is owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the App, nor may you reverse-engineer or attempt to extract the source code.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, for any reason, without notice. You may stop using the App at any time. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive, including ownership, disclaimers, and limitations of liability.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be resolved in the courts of the United States.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that these Terms shall otherwise remain in full force and effect.
