These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the CHASR mobile application ("App") operated by the CHASR publisher identified in the applicable App Store listing ("CHASR," "we," "our," or "us"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
You must be at least 17 years of age to use the App. By using the App, you represent and warrant that you are at least 17 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.
When you first open the App, an anonymous account is automatically created for you. You do not need to provide any personal information to use the core features. You may optionally link your Apple ID for account recovery purposes.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device and account. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account, including any content posted to the community.
CHASR is a confidence-building application that provides daily real-world missions designed to help you improve your social skills. The App includes:
Free tier: The first 15 Bronze missions, streak and XP tracking, core progress features, leaderboard and Field Notes viewing, one Field Note after a completed daily rep, one mission swap per day, and one comeback shield per 30-day window after seven completed reps.
Pro tier (optional paid upgrade): The complete 180-mission guided path and ongoing Practice Mode, adaptive daily plans, weekly confidence insights, complete debrief history, expanded Wing Man insights, and a Pro badge. Pro does not change daily swap, posting, or comeback-shield discipline.
Pro is offered through monthly and yearly auto-renewable subscriptions billed by the Apple App Store, and as a one-time lifetime purchase. Eligible users may be offered a three-day trial on the yearly plan. The exact localized price, billing period, trial eligibility, and renewal terms are shown in the App before purchase. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple ID settings.
The lifetime option is a single payment rather than a subscription. It does not auto-renew, there is nothing to cancel, and it grants Pro access for as long as the App is available on your Apple ID.
Deleting your CHASR account does not cancel an App Store subscription. Manage or cancel the subscription separately through Apple before deleting your account.
All purchases are processed by the Apple App Store. Refund requests must be directed to Apple through their standard refund process. We do not process refunds directly.
When using the community features, you agree to:
We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these guidelines and to suspend or terminate accounts of repeat offenders without notice or refund.
You retain ownership of the content you post in the community. By posting, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display, distribute, and moderate your content within the App. You represent that you have the right to post all content you submit.
We are not responsible for user-generated content. Views expressed by users in the community do not represent our views.
Users can report posts that violate our community guidelines. We review reported content and take appropriate action, which may include removing content, warning users, or suspending accounts. Posts that receive multiple reports may be automatically hidden pending review.
CHASR is a self-improvement tool designed to help build social confidence. The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.
Important:
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or use, arising out of or related to your use of the App, whether based on warranty, contract, tort, or any other legal theory, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Our total liability for any claim arising out of or related to these Terms or the App shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or $50, whichever is greater.
The App, including its design, missions, text, graphics, logos, and software, is owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the App, nor may you reverse-engineer or attempt to extract the source code.
We may suspend or terminate access when reasonably necessary to protect users, enforce these Terms, comply with law, or maintain the service. You may stop using the App at any time and may permanently delete your account and associated App data from Settings. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive, including ownership, disclaimers, and limitations of liability.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
These Terms are governed by applicable law, without limiting any mandatory consumer protections that apply where you live. Any dispute shall be brought in a court or forum that has lawful jurisdiction over the dispute.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that these Terms shall otherwise remain in full force and effect.
